When Isi Carolina first came into contact with the visual arts, she was just four years old and sitting on her grandfather Werner’s lap. The building contractor loved to paint in his spare time, so it was almost inevitable that he would pass on his talent to his beloved granddaughter, brushstroke by brushstroke.
Isi Carolina focuses on reflective, metallic-looking oil paintings and a fluid visual language, placing her work within the everyday lives of Generation Z.
Luisa Stroh was born in Langen, Germany, in 2000 and has been passionate about art from a young age.
In 2020, she took part in her first art exhibition at the Kunstverein Montez, and in the same year she impressed the project management team at the Domus Vivendi Group and decorated the “Hippiements Villa” in Ibiza with her paintings.
In October 2022, she held her first solo exhibition in Zurich, featuring six of her works.
And like so many others of her generation, she is active on Instagram and TikTok, where she began sharing her art. Her aim: to inspire as many people as possible – particularly younger people – to develop a passion for art and to encourage them to be more creative in their own lives.
In 2022, a publishing house took notice of the young artist, and so Isi Carolina published her first book: Modern Acrylics.
