Linked by the constant pursuit of perfection, Champagne Carbon is aware of the importance of Bugatti's history. On the occasion of Bugatti's 110th anniversary, the champagne brand created Champagne Carbon for Bugatti B.01, consisting of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir.
The latest creation from the Carbon vinotheque was unveiled the following year: B.02. This Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru of the 2006 vintage was created to celebrate the first anniversary of the Chiron Super Sport 300+1, the first production car to break the 300-mile barrier. It is kept in a black carbon fiber shell with orange accents, just like the record-breaking car.
In 2021 the partnership's most spectacular manifestation happened: La Bouteille Noire - B.03, inspired by the Bugatti Boliden S3. The 15-litre bottle of the 2000 vintage, a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, was encased in a unique, hand-crafted carbon fibre sculpture representing Bugatti's haute couture creation: La Voiture Noire. The case opens and closes at the push of a stainless steel button bathed in a soft blue light. The doors themselves are clad in a piece of laser-cut aluminium that mimics the Type 57 SC Atlantic's central fin and open with engineered hinges and a bespoke gear to reveal a sumptuous interior. As the doors gently unfold, another automatic system releases the neck of the bottle, which is secured when closed.
